The Pleasure Monger has established presence in the food blogosphere, with posts featured on Tastespotting, Foodgawker, Photograzing, Dessertstalking and SavorySights. In celebration of Pinktober – Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in October 2010, I participated in the call to make Pink Macarons to spread the word, and have been featured on the Mactweets blog. Two of the food posts at The Pleasure Monger (see images below) was also selected by WordPress editors from more than half a million daily posts to be featured on Freshly Pressed in early November 2010 and June 2011 (click on images to access the relevant posts). Three other posts were also featured on Foodpress in November 2010, December 2010 and June 2011. Recently on 23rd May 2011, my Pandan Swiss Roll with Toasted Coconut Whipped Cream post was featured in the ‘Best of the Blogs’ section on FineCooking. It has been an amazing experience and I am most grateful to folks who have given me these wonderful opportunities.
The blog also reaches out to Facebook fans and Twitter followers on blog and lifestyle updates.

Hi There,
I think it’s really amazing that you have accomplished so much within a year of blogging. A steady readership and features in the various online publications and forums. Most importantly, you are at peace with yourself as you have finally found the direction that you want to take in life.
It’s inspiring, especially for someone like me who’s still searching for that direction in life.
Steph
Steph: I think I still have a lot to search for in life. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and hope to take them further if someone would give me the chance. If I (the ever-so-clueless girl) can do it, so can you!
